Quien recuerda esto?
Monica P. was an addendum to our class, because of that huge brain she carries around. I remember Mrs. Davis coming up to Mrs. Avila when we were in line and they put Monica in there with us on the second day of school. She was with us ever since! :) Y para rematar, era mejor alumna que la mayoria de nosotros!

Yeah, I remember being in pre-school and she could read and spell!! I was like "What the...?" Her brother Enrique is also a genius.
yeah, enrique tutored Dayan one summer when he was skipping a grade. That's really the only memory of him I have, he would show up at my grandparents house with what seemed to me huge books at that time.
You're funny.
I was terrified that first day in 1st grade...I was totally clueless. I don't really know why it happened like that -- I specifically remember not even knowing how to pronounce the words "first grade" in English.
One of my first report cards that year came back saying I was talking to my classmates too much. From that point on I think I was scared to say anything, ever ...they really cramped my style!
I remember Dayan and José Francisco coming over to our house to be tutored at least once. They didn't know I existed, and neither did my brother. Little did I know I would be planning to marry Jose Fco a few years later...that's a different story.
You almost married Chico?! Does anyone know what he is up to? I remember he got into running.
His sister Jackie and I were in the same scuba diving group a few years later. We were supposed to do our certification dive in Roatan, but plans changed and we had to do it right off the dock in Puerto Cortes. That was some murky water! I think visibility was about 5 feet.
Chico was a great friend to Dayan up until the end. He came a couple of times to visit him in Lafayette when he was sick. He and rossi really became part of our family during that time.
I remember when you and he were a couple. I also heard through the grapevine when you two broke up.
Monica, I never knew anyone had ever said anything negative about you in the comments. You were like the perfect student!
I'll send it later to you, from my e-mail. ahorita mucha hueva to look it up.
