¡Bienvenida, Yvette Levi!
Estoy emocionada de haber recibido una respuesta de Yvette Levi al email que mande hoy. I found an email on the web and was crossing my fingers that I had the right Yvette...but then again, she's pretty unmistakable!
I've invited her to the blog and hope she will give us the Yvette update soon.

ok, I need to learn how to post in here, as this new-fangled technology is putting my few surviving brain cells into overdrive. Thanks for looking me up. Last I heard about Adrian Lanza, he was in Texas. I used to see his sister Patty in New Orleans, but after Katrina I don't know if she's still there.
hey alicia, I see you go by Gaby now. I still haven't figured it out, but that goes for just about everything in my life. How are you doing? Where are you living these days?
Gaby, ojala estuvieramos todas juntas en La Lima en este momento, tomandonos unas cocas y sintiendonos de diez años...
Hi Yvette! I'm so glad Monica got in touch with you! Are you living in Honduras? We are in Austin, TX and I made an initial stab at getting in touch with Adrian and Aldo, but came up blank. I understand they are in Houston along with 50% of New Orleans' former population. I can't wait to catch up more with you and am glad to see our list of MIA classmates is getting smaller every day. Take care!
I am currently in Denver, CO. Mark, what is it with you and Texas? Haven't you been there forever?
Gaby, you teaching at EILL? I heard ms. Flores retired, has anyone seen her lately?
If we were ten years old, I would be dirty and would have an afro...I think I'll stick to 35!
any of you peeps on myspace? That's my newest internet addiction.
Have not been on myspace. How do we find you there? Care to post a link?
sure...www.myspace.com/yvette35
My sister-in-law lives in Denver and we go there often. Perhaps we can all go out for coffee next time we're in the area. Yes, I do believe we'll be in TX forever. Austin is a great city and Patricia's family (and my Mom!) are all here. CO is great though! Will I be surprised when I see the "grown up" Yvette? Can you make our reunion?
I'll try to make it, it's kind of short notice. My son actually leaves for Honduras on that weekend, so it might work out. Just have to see if I can take time off at work. I would definitely like to see everyone again. I was telling Monica that this is kind of surreal.
Tell your mom I say hey, Mark. I always liked seeing her walking all over La Zona.
I will Yvette. She is actually on her way over to our house. We are taking her out to dinner for Mother's Day. The "poodle" comment is slowly starting to come to me. Will you please elaborate? How old is your son? How is Victor? Your Mom? I really hope you can make it down. If not, we would love to catch up w/ you in Denver. We will try to get out there this Fall or Winter for sure. Ciao!
I clearly remember the pencil in someone's leg.
Ja Ja, what a temper girl!
dude, that was so not me! It was Adrian's leg, but it wasn't my pencil! Wasn't it Miguel Blanco?
I was the one that threw the scissors at Ricardo Coto, which isn't a whole lot better...
It was Miguel. I remember clearly the yelp Adrian made when he sat down next to him. Yvette may have done lots of things, but this is not one of them!
We would love you just as much, no matter how many people you've stabbed. :)
Ooops...not too good with the memories, but I was in the right track... now I remember the scissors thing, come on Gaby help me here, put your memories on overdrive...
I did the tutoring thing when I lived in Honduras. It's a good way to make money.
I remember that fight with Ricardo. That boy and I had such a love/hate relationship for so long! He really was a pain in the behind when we were younger, though. You know you thought so too!
Espero que Ricardo llegue pronto al blog para que pueda dar también su versión de los hechos! Yvette, can we convince you to share some family pics on here?
Alguien sabe algo de Adrian? And where is Ricardo? I bet those two have more stories than we can remember!
I'll never forget when Ricardo threw one of those huge Webster dictionaries on my head!
Who remembers Mrs. Harris... we use to call her Jet, is that right Gaby? We had a blast when we tried to scare her, she was in her office back when she was the principle... I believe the was the night before graduation. I remember her salchicha dog... was it "Wolly"?
Ricardo called me last week from Honduras. He should be there and promised to get on the blog. Let's go Coto!
That's right, it was Aldo who ended up paying it!
Yvette, why don't you post a photo of you and your son?
Or is it a daughter, Yvette? Why am I thinking it's a boy?
I can't get over so many of you having babies....it's so weird. Lidia's first child is now almost 17!! Y es idéntica a Lidia.
Monica, where is Lydia, have you heard from her, is she ok?
I haven't figured out how to post them. and yes, he's a boy...his name is Jared.
