...después de tanto alboroto y emoción y tanto hacer planes, de no poder compartir con Uds. Tuve un colapso pulmonar y no me dejan viajar en avión al menos por varias semanas. I was SO looking forward to seeing everyone....you'll have to have lots of fun on my behalf and please take plenty of pictures.
Maybe we can have the US version of the reunion for the rest of us.

Ha ha ha! I know! You'd think two lungs would take care of it :)
It was my brother who first told me I probably wouldn't be flying anytime soon. Anyone got an extra lung I can use?

You're probably wise to stay home. I just figured, "What are the chances that your second lung would go out??"
