You almost made me snort, I'm laughing so hard. Don't worry, another decade or two of psychotherapy and you should be good to go. I'm still trying to recover from grade school myself.

Thank you for sharing your stories of heartbreak so openly. Have you gotten any sleep? You probably have logged in many hours of just staring at Justin, right?

I'm afraid it was the other way around Shanon. Karen broke my heart! Sniff! :( I got a similar note that started, "Do you want to be just friends?" That is a funny story you tell! How's the baby?

Oscar was slightly sex-obsessed, or was that everybody? I hope he turned out ok...

Karen just recently got married...y'all missed out on a second chance.
I never heard about Shanon, but from what I was told, Karen broke up with Mark because a certain teacher was failing her for dating him.

who wasn't in love with Alexandra! I wish I could have half of her mojo!

have I changed? I thought so, but "hanging" with you guys is bringing it all back!

consider it a blessing. I was kind of like Ally Sheedy's character in "The Breakfast Club"
so, how's the bundle of joy doing? Now the years are really going to start flying by!

Yvette was a little prickly on the outside but sweet on the inside....hey, we all had our issues. We remember you more fondly than you realize, YL.

Shanon, por favor! You know you were the "bad boy" of middle school!

Alejandra did have some serious hair and mojo. Last I heard she lived in Danli and had 3 kiddos.

Shanon and Yvette would have been good pals (when they weren't fighting, of course!). I still remember Shanon telling Rene and a couple of other guys, "Venganse los tres pues!" What were you thinking?

Yeah, I never understood your logic in going up against Rene. I'm glad Scott was there to support you. What a pal! Was the librarian Laura Villeda? I'm sure Dona Neftalia has forgiven you. Tomatos weren't the only thing launched, were they? Why were we so mean?? Do you remember the small arsenal of firecrackers that went off in your house? It's a miracle it didn't burn down!

Rene (pronounced Renay) was her name. She, too, was quite the sensation.

Scott recalls the plume of smoke coming from your house as I ran home and spread the news. The same pyrotechnic display took place at Virgilio's house a few years earlier. No wonder my parents never let me buy any!

Wow, it's very entertaining to learn all these stories now that I was clueless about back then. And we ALL were in love with Rennie Villeda. She and her sister Laura taught us ballet and were both gorgeous. There was always a bunch of guys hanging out just outside the windows at the Club trying to catch a glimpse during ballet class.

Mrs. Dickson was a tough cookie. I remember getting reprimanded all the time just for not sitting properly in my seat. Of course other offenses led to these major speeches the whole class had to hear: "Estoy gastando pólvora en zopilotes," etc etc etc

Monica, I cannot imagine you being reprimanded!

One thing I do remember about Mrs. Dickson is getting pulled out of class to go show some older kids how the gringuito could spell words they might be struggling with. She has gotten sweeter with age and I know she will be delighted to see everyone.

Oh my God, what a days! I agree with Monica, we were clueless on all those adventures the guys went through.

And who remembers that weird teacher that loved Garfield?

And we even named a snake, was it Dona Neftalia's snake, "Zig Zag"?

Shanon, thanks for reminding us of those funny moments, I am picturing Oscar Wilkins jumping up and down with his silly smile! It was so annoying back then.

It's hard to believe Shanon was with us for just one year!

Claudia had a really good sense of humor.

Pero, Gaby, la pregunta es: ahora SI terminas tu tarea cuando tienes tres días disponibles? pues, para ver si le funcionó la técnica :D

I saw a mention of renie villeda and had to agree with Monica. She was f**king gorgeous! So much that I worked at a maquila where she had worked before and heard she got fired because the president was in love with her and decided it was in his best interest to get rid of her.
No such thing as sexual harassment laws in SPS!
Just sharing, so all may know the hardships us beautiful people face...

I bet scott could really fight. That kid had a temper, if I remember correctly.
Mark, remember passing out when we were lifting weights in Yolany's garage on Wednesdays? Don't know where that one just came from, but I remember your exercises were different from ours because you swam backstoke.

I don't remember passing out, but I do remember those killer workouts w/ Victor. Last week I called Nelson Borjas and spoke to his father-in-law. I gave him the message and my name. Then, just for kicks, I told his father-in-law that if Nelson did not remember my name, that I was the boy on the swim team that was just a little bit faster than he was! Nelson and I had a good laugh when I finally spoke to him. :)

were you really faster than Nelson? I remember having to swim fifty laps each day and Yolany and I would stop in the middle (en el poste) to try to only swim half of those.

Not in the early days. Only later, when I grew to 6'' was I able to edge him out in swimming. At least, that is my memory. He may disagree!
