Honduras in June
Anyone from planning to be around for the EIS reunion the weekend of 6/20? If so pls email so we can get together.
Anyone from planning to be around for the EIS reunion the weekend of 6/20? If so pls email so we can get together.
For any of you living in Honduras or planning to be there this summer, I'd love to see you. I'll be in La Lima for Edith's graduation from EILL at the end of May.
As always, I ate too much in Honduras and caught up on my sleep.

Lamento que he estado desconectada pero no he parado de ver los comentarios. Que pasa con todo el mundo, donde esta el entusiasmo, these are the things that keep people going in life. Where is everyone?
OK, I have recovered from the Honduras reunion exhaustion and am ready to tackle phase 2 of the EILL/LAS reunion. The 2 key elements to decide are date and location.

The first picture is of my son. He is 8 yrs. old. He will be 9 this Saturday. The second picture is of all my family. Each one of us with our son or daughter. The oldest one is Veronica's son. He's 15. The youngest one is Franklin's daughter. She's 3 months old.
This last picture is of me and my boy.
Hello Everyone! I am so glad to join the blog. We had a wonderful time, but we did miss those of you who were not here. With you guys, it would have been a lot better. I really hope to see you guys for the next one.
I wish I was there, but in honor of the reunion, I'm drinking margaritas. Cheers!
I was SO looking forward to seeing everyone....you'll have to have lots of fun on my behalf and please take plenty of pictures.
I know it will be warm, but can anyone comment on the expected rain conditions? Gaby, is there a chance that it will rain Sat night and does that affect your BBQ plans? Lei que "esta perro el Ulua!"
I just spoke to to Nelson and he is flying down tomorrow and staying through the 25th. He will join us Friday, Saturday lunch, and for the BBQ at Gaby's so count him in!
I just got an email from Ty, Monica's husband. She is in the hospital for an unscheduled medical procedure and will need to postpone her trip. :( He mentioned it is not urgent or worrisome, but do keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
I figured maybe if I called you what your Mom called you when you were in trouble that you might respond! :) I wasn't sure you were checking this until you posted your address way down at the bottom.

Monica P. was an addendum to our class, because of that huge brain she carries around. I remember Mrs. Davis coming up to Mrs. Avila when we were in line and they put Monica in there with us on the second day of school. She was with us ever since!
I just got off the phone with Clyde Stephens in FL. He is the auther of a wonderful book about life in the tropics called "Bananpeople". You can read more about it at www.bananapeople.net. He has a few copies left and I know some of you have expressed an interest in this book. They cost $23 and I am happy to place an order and bring the books down next week. Simply let me know if you would like one and I can handle the rest. He is going out of town next week and I would like to place the order in a couple of days to make sure I get them in time. Thanks!
I thought I was going to have to wait until the actual reunion to hear from you!! I posted a picture of you and your family a ways down. I know Scott has been writing to Mauricio and they plan to see each other. Divertite leyendo y postea cuando puedas, OK?
¿Alguien ha sabido algo de Leonardo Galindo, José Pagoaga, René Suarez, etc? Se han vuelto a comunicar con Ricardo? Who else are we missing?
Hola! I got an email from Emi and she was excited to hear about everyone. Monica, she lives in your town, so perhaps you guys can catch up! I gave her the blog address as she wanted to post some comentarios. I'll let her tell you more about what she has been up to.
Wow! I just spoke to Kori and Monica and had yet more trips down memory lane! Kori plans to attend our reunion and is requesting tickets from TACA as we speak. Monica has 4 children (9, 3ish, 14 mo, and 5 weeks. YIKES!). They are all boys and during our 10 minute conversation one busted a lip in the pool and another fell into the pool filter. She wonders if they will all be like Troy! :) Her husband is out to sea (he is a sea captain) and she manages all this and teaches as well!!! You go girl! She is bummed at the prospect of missing the reunion and may find a way to get down after all. Monica B, we all completely understand if you can't, trust me!
Ricardo Coto put Adrian in touch w/ me today and we had a very nice conversation. He has been living in Houston for the last 4 1/2 years and works in the real estate division of a credit union. He promises to post some pics and info soon. His sister Patty has 2 children and Maritza has 1. Their parents are also in Houston.
